The Whitney will mark Halloween with a free Friday evening, a teen celebration and a daytime dance party for children and their grown-ups.
According to the museum’s announcement, Free Friday Night on October 30 runs from 5 to 10 p.m., with DJ sets by TYLERFROMWHERE and Lord Fascinator from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is free, but visitors still need tickets; the museum recommends booking ahead because capacity is limited.
Earlier that afternoon, Halloween Teen Night runs from 4 to 7 p.m. with printmaking, teen-led tours, music and snacks. The event is free for teens and requires advance registration.
On Saturday, October 31, Boogie Baby NYC brings DJ Stretch Armstrong and face painting to the museum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Halloween Open Studio runs during the same hours. Both are included with museum admission.
The program coincides with Roy Lichtenstein: Like New. Full event details are available at whitney.org/halloween2026; reserve admission through the museum’s ticket page.
