Our coverage combines timely reporting with criticism, interviews, guides and service journalism. The goal is not to catalog everything happening in New York. It is to help readers understand what matters, what is changing and what is worth making time for.

Who we are

New York Hours is edited by Sascha Brodsky, a New York journalist and former editor in chief of New York Resident magazine. The publication commissions contributing writers, photographers and critics as assignments warrant; contributors are credited on the work they produce.
