A boombox conceals the entrance to Rewind NYC, a Long Island City venue combining a cocktail lounge, a Pan-Asian restaurant and eight private karaoke rooms.
The 9,000-square-foot space at 45-57 Davis St. is among the venues highlighted in a new announcement from Hall PR. Its bar menu, overseen by beverage director Ken Chen, draws on tea culture, the Chinese zodiac and the Five Elements.
Executive chef Alexander Lee’s menu includes truffle mushroom congee, Taiwanese fried chicken and wagyu donburi. The karaoke rooms take their design cues from subjects including Hong Kong cinema and vintage recording studios, according to the announcement.
Rewind also plans a rotating monthly series of guest bartenders for one-night collaborations. Details are available at rewindnyc.com.
