Closure publicity still

A father’s search for his missing teenage son becomes the subject of Closure, a documentary opening at New York’s IFC Center on Wednesday, October 28.

Directed by Polish filmmaker Michał Marczak, the film follows Daniel Dymiński as he searches the Vistula River after surveillance cameras last record his son, Chris, walking on Warsaw’s Gdańsk Bridge. According to the film’s announcement, he uses homemade devices, GPS trackers and drones in his effort to find answers.

The documentary also follows the Dymiński family as time passes and they confront the possibility that they may never know what happened. Its New York engagement precedes a national theatrical rollout from distributor 1-2 Special.

The film runs 108 minutes. For screening information, visit IFC Center.
