EVÈNTO 75 Murray Dinner Series lineup

Dining news

Tribeca’s newly opened EVÈNTO is turning its kitchen over to a rotating cast of guest chefs this month.

The Italian culinary and hospitality space at 75 Murray Street is launching a five-night dinner series led by chef Andrea Belfiore, according to an announcement sent to New York Hours. Each dinner pairs the guest chef’s cooking with two EVÈNTO specialties, using the restaurant’s pasta-and-pizza foundation as a starting point rather than a fixed script.

The lineup begins Oct. 12 with Eddie Figueroa, formerly of Kent Hospitality Group restaurants and Zero Bond. Diego Rivera, formerly of Casa Mono, follows Oct. 14; MasterChef Italia semifinalist Sara Messaoudi appears Oct. 20; Berk Kalkan, whose résumé includes The French Laundry and Restaurant Gabriel Kreuther, cooks Oct. 26; and Molly Bloom, formerly of El Camarón Peludo, closes the series Oct. 28.

EVÈNTO says the menus will fold Dominican, Colombian, Moroccan, Turkish and Lebanese influences into the format over the course of the month. The dinners begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are approximately $105 per person.
